I chose this hotel for a work consultation and it was perfectly located for both business and leisure guests. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals and the spacious lounge/dining area was great for relaxing. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The idyllic setting with beautiful views of the mountain and the abundance of wildlife made it a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The one service I missed for my work was reliable and unlimited WiFi access. I had to get vouchers for WiFi from the reception, but they expired within 24 hours instead of the promised 3 days.

I keep coming back to the retreat because it has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, a TV, laundry facilities, and an indoor pool. Plus, the friendly staff once helped me return my forgotten belongings. Perfect for my business trips!

My stay at this retreat was worth every penny. The room was cozy and had a great view of Mt. Roland. The location was beautiful, nestled at the foot of the mountain with stunning sunset colors. The staff treated me like family, giving me helpful tips and even taking me on a nocturnal walk where we saw platypus swimming in the dam.

The breakfast selection could be improved, but everything else was top-notch.

For dads, it would be great to have a longer-lasting hot water supply for the evening showers.

The charming decor and cozy ambiance of this retreat instantly made me feel at home. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm colors and tasteful furnishings created a welcoming atmosphere. The general areas were thoughtfully designed, with easy access for senior folks like me. The comfortable seating areas and wide corridors made it convenient to navigate around the retreat without any hassle.

If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to have more assistance available from the children working there. While they were friendly and kind, it would be helpful to have them offer guidance on local attractions or provide recommendations for activities specifically tailored for seniors.

I had a blast hiking the Mt Roland Summit Track and exploring Tasmazia and Cradle Mountain. The indoor pool was a great way to relax and the evening wildlife tours were a wild adventure.

Who needs cellphone service anyway? It's not like I wanted to talk to anyone outside this wilderness retreat.

We had an amazing stay at Silver Ridge Retreat! The spa suite provided breathtaking views of Mt Roland while we relaxed in the spa, a truly unforgettable experience. The property was surrounded by beautiful scenery and the nearby town of Sheffield offered lovely dining options. John, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful. It was great value for money and we would definitely stay again if we visit Tasmania in the future. we highly recommend this retreat for a memorable and relaxing stay.

We stayed at Silver Ridge Retreat for a few nights and it was perfect for our needs. The staff was incredibly helpful and the Studio and Cottage were spacious and well-furnished. We loved the magnificent views of Mount Roland and enjoyed watching the sunset over the range. The pool was great and the peacefulness of the night, interrupted only by wildlife, was exactly what we needed. The night walk with Justin was amazing, and we even spotted a possum, a platypus, and wallabies. The location of the retreat is truly amazing, surrounded by beautiful nature and close to Gowrie Park.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
